When you have the opportunity to visit Sugamo, you should try 麺や いま村 (Menya Imamura). There is always a long line in front of the restaurant, but it’s worth waiting in line.
How to order ramen at Imamura?
They use fish and chicken broth and provide soy sauce and salt-based soup. When you visit Imamura, you need to choose a flavour from a soy source and salt.
The restaurant’s signature grilled chicken is also served with regular ramen, but if you’re hungry, you can add extra toppings. Ramen comes with lemon ginger and mushroom oil simmered, so you can add those things when you want to feel more flesh flavour.
