In a world that constantly encourages us to go out, explore, and socialize, there are some individuals who prefer the comfort and solace of their own homes. This phenomenon is known as “出不精 debushou,” which loosely translates to being a homebody or someone who avoids going outside.
The Traits of a “出不精 debushou”
There are several common characteristics that are often associated with “出不精 debushou”individuals. Let’s explore some of them:
1. Procrastinators by nature
For many, the idea of going out involves the hassle of getting dressed, doing makeup, and making necessary preparations. This can be particularly true for women. Additionally, the costs associated with transportation and the time spent commuting also contribute to the aversion of going out. As a result, “debuahou” individuals often find these extra steps to be tedious and prefer to stay at home.
2. Introverted personalities
People with introverted personalities often find solace in their own company and tend to be less inclined towards socializing. The idea of going out and interacting with a large number of people can be overwhelming for them. Instead, they find comfort and relaxation in spending time alone, making them more prone to becoming “debushou.”
3. Detached from the world
It is common for “出不精 debuahou” individuals to have a small social circle and fewer chances for social interactions. This disconnection from the world can sometimes make them feel separated from societal norms and expectations. As a result, they might show unusual behavior or surprise others with their unique viewpoints.
Embracing the “出不精 debushou” lifestyle
While some may view the “出不精 debushou” lifestyle as a hindrance to personal growth and social experiences, it’s essential to understand that it has its own merits and appeal. For “debushou” individuals, their homes become a sanctuary where they can fully immerse themselves in their hobbies and interests. Whether it’s indulging in video games, reading manga, or pursuing any other indoor passion, they find fulfillment and contentment within the comfort of their own four walls.
“出不精 debushou” hobbies
Being a “出不精 denushou” is not necessarily a bad thing, but rather a personal preference for being alone and enjoying the comforts of home.
From here I will talk about my introverted “debushou” hobbies.
1. Running
A concern for a “debushou” like me is my health. Since I can spend a lot of time at home, I make it a point to go running a couple of times a week. Running is a great hobby for “debushou” individuals because it does not require group participation and allows us to maintain our own pace.
2. Reading
Reading keeps my brain clear and teaches us to think deeply. Even if we don’t interact with others, we can learn about what is happening in society.
3. Writing
Writing also provides us with quiet time. Beautiful writing is a lifelong treasure. If you are learning a second language, writing in that language improves your fundamental language abilities.
For some people, my hobbies look boring, but the above three things provide me precious time.
